Introduction of Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation & Livestock

Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) is one of the key ministries of Afghan cabinet that work for 85 percent population of this country.

Totally this ministry is run by 10,740 staff members, both, in central as well as in provinces.

This ministry is led by H.E Obaidullah Ramin assisted by two deputy ministers. It is clear that by participating, private sector it will bring about important changes in the organization of this ministry, there are 20 central departments in capital and 34 provincial departments. It is expected that by farther administrative reform, these department will also be increased.

It worth mention that all these departments are to serve our diligent farmers and sector of Agriculture of the country.
